Whoa that's crazy I found this post. I just got back into FOW with 3rd edition and found out nobody plays at hobbytown west ashley anymore. Definitely looking for some games soon. I'm guessing you may have played 40k at hobbytown or dotgames also? We may know some of the same people.

No I've lived here almost two years and still have yet to get down to any of the stores game nights, havnt wanted to go check them out without knowing anyone.

I just got Open fire and a parachute rifle company box and started putting them together.

I do have a lot of 40k I just havnt played a game in years.

There are a few guys in the charleston area gamers Facebook group that are interested in flames of war. Perhaps a group is starting to take shape

Great. I just started putting together a grenadier force from open fire. I'll probably just make a force from the quick start book. Something rather generic that can span several areas.

I'm in the process of making a board as well.

I have a ton of 40k stuff. Boards. Armies and the like. I don't really play at games stores because I don't compete, which leaves me little room to have fun around here. My buddy and I play casual stuff from time to time.

Also got some bolt action stuff which I'm tring to get into.

We should get together for some casual games, I've been looking at bolt action a lot lately too

I live downtown but my friend and I have some boards stored at the warehouse that I work at off of azalea closer to you. We play there after hours fom time to time. Best thing to do would be meet up at an easy to get to spot like hobby town and branch out from there. Maybe recruit some more fow players. I don't particularly like to hang out at hobby town because I can't drink beer there and I have to listen to 40k arguments

Yeah sounds good, I work downtown on meeting. Once I get these guys based we should meet up and run the quick start book.
