Hey folks.
New user, relatively new wargamer. Would love some input on an army idea.
I currently play Blood Angels but I am looking to purchase a Grey knights army because a friend quit and sold his army, and gave me his old codex
I wanted something different and I am a huge fan of the Eisenhorn/Ravenor books, So i wanted to focus to be more on inquisitors than Grey knights themselves
My local Club usually plays 1250-1500 games, so this is what i came up with (want to plan out the army before I start purchasing models.)
Ordo Mallius Warband

Inquisitor Coteaz 100
Coteaz's Warband:
2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths 70
10x Warrior Acolytes 40
10xPower armour 100
10xBolters 10
1xMelta gun 10
melta bombs 5

Troops:
INquisitorial Guard
(Warband)
2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths 70
10x Warrior Acolytes 40
10x Power armour 100
8x Bolters 8
1x melta gun 10
1x Plasma gun 10

2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths 70
10x Warrior Acolytes 40
10x Power armour 100
8x Bolters 8
1x melta gun 10
1x Plasma gun 10
238
2x Jokaero Weaponsmiths 70
10x Warrior Acolytes 40
10x Power armour 100
8x Bolters 8
1x melta gun 10
1x Plasma gun 10
238
Heavy Support:
Nemesis Dreadknight 130
Gatling psilencer 35
Nemesis Greatsword 25
190
As a side note: Because the Acolytes are in Power armour and have bolters for the most part, I plan to use Dark-angels Vets as my Power armoured acolytes. Black power armour, red robes, and possibly Deathwatch shoulders. May sound Odd But i would argue its a case of "What you see is what you get", since the only difference in these guys and the standard Space marine is stat line. War-gear wise they would LOOK the same. at least that is how i see it, So i wouldn't call it a "Proxy" So much as "Well GW don't appear to sell Acolyte-in-power-armour models, so this is as close as it gets"
