I think yes http://www.blacklibrary.com/digital-editions-preview.html let me rephrase this it looks like these are fluff books. Not the new codex. But they could be close to an android app or release.

That's most likely _not_ the next "codex: space marines".

If you're referring to the one on the far right, I assume this a reprint of the Index Astartes articles. Nothing to see here, move along.

Index Astartes was and old codex SUPPLEMENT from the good old days of white dwarf wasn't it?

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

As much as I wish we had something solid on a new Space Marine codex, this is not it. If anyone's curious what Index Astartes is/was, here's a link: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Index_Astartes

It was an old title, but as you can see from the artwork for all three titles these look new.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Just downloaded the Mobi format piece, and inside there is a preview of a new set of Index books...probably not the cover of the codex, but a neat insight into the digital material upcoming. Mods can lock this.

It looks to me like they're repackaging a lot of the old WD content that's OOP into digital editions. They all but say so in their own announcement "some from the forgotten archives of the past"

Yes, the index was a fine way to add more fluff to the other armies that did not get covered in the codex.

Thanks for sharing, but this has already been discussed in the Black Library thread, so I'd direct any further conversation to there.
