After looking at the current White Dwarf, I noticed that in the back under 'Parting Shot', I see an Ork Stompa with other killa kanz and Deff Dreads. Is it possible that the Orks are next up for a Codex? Please let it be true, I got 42K points of orks waiting for some sweet sweet love from GW. Can anyone confirm this or am I crazy?

That's probably because Orks are one of the only armies to have a non-Forge World apoc unit-the Stompa.
Its heavily rumoured to be Lizardmen as next months release, and the next to being Space Marines and Tyranids. But i imagine them being high on the list. Aren't they still on 4th ed?

Orks are a 5th ed codex in the way that necrons are a 6th ed codex. They say one edition but were clearly designed for another

The Parting Shot in the back means literally nothing. It's a cool picture that may or may not have anything to do with the magazine before it. For instance, April's had a Thunderhawk. March's was a Hive Tyrant fighting Thunderwolves. February's was the Araknarok Spider. It's just a cool picture, don't read into it.
That being said, Marines are rumored to be next, in September.

That would be a crappy and lame decision to make.
So it sounds pretty likely, given GW's history.

Wait, releasing a new Codex for the third oldest Codex in the game (which is also quite likely the most popular Codex) would be a crappy and lame decision to make? Could you elaborate, please?

Simple: We've already had several marine codices released. The rest can wait while non-marines get updated.

But that would make sense... A word that rarely belongs in the same sentence as GW
I'm in no hurry, I really don't want to buy a 50 dollar hardback codex anytime soon. The codex isn't perfect, but its still pretty solid. I would rather armies like sisters of battle, black templars, nids, and even IG get an update first, as they all need tweaking more urgently than the orks do.
