OK, I'm pretty near certain you cannot attack or destroy an Aegis Defence Line as they count as Battlefield Debris rather than buildings. I am aware that you can destroy the gun emplacement.
However, I have been told today that there is an FAQ out that states that an ADL is counted as a structure with AV10, which means you can target and destroy them and that a unit behind one can even treat the sections as models for the purposes of wound allocation!
Like I say, I'm near certain that none of this is the case, but the seed of doubt is there now! Is there something tucked away in an errata somewhere that says you can destroy ADLs?
Cheers in advance!

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics. |

If there is an FAQ it is for a specific event. The GW published FAQs (link in my sig) have not been updated for a couple of months (except Eldar).

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Happyjew is correct, searching Aegis, fortification, and debris on the BRB FAQ did not bring anything up indicating that ADL is targetable beyond the gun emplacement aspect. If they insist, challenge them to show your the entry.

The ADL is a piece of terrain. 40K has no rules for destruction of terrain.

But none of those include the ADL.

So it's as I thought, they are indestructible.

As far as the rules of 40K go, yes they are indestructible.
If your group plays with a house rule that lets you destroy them, then that is on you guys to figure out how that would work.
