So there is a tournament at my local store and its a pyramid tier based tournament. I had been doing well i was on the second from the top spot. Then back to back weeks i lost to dark eldar aliening eldar and elder aliening dark eldar. Both games this was my list

demon prince with wings and the murder sword and MoN
chaos lord with MoN

6x plague marines with 2 plasma guns
5x plague marines with 2 plasma guns

and two helldrakes with baleflamers

i got my butt handed to me, i am still fairly new to the game less then a year still but i dont know what i did wrong and i would like help to see if its my list.
Am i missing something about the codex? I would like to stay to flavor though i really like nurgle and that whole idea. Ive been told by the person i lost to last night i should look into oblierators. Are they worth it? Also any advice would be greatlly appreciated thanks for your time.

Well, why did you lose? Did you get tabled, couldn't hold enough objectives, couldn't kill any of the other player's units? Not enough units?

I got tabled on turn 2. my opponent last night was eldar with 2 fire prisms a bunch of bike with the far-seer on the bike a squad of rangers then 10 of the dark eldar guys with rocket launchers, he was able to pop one of the helldrakes fairly quickly and the other one wasn't able to much due the maneuverability of his army and the demon prince game in on turn 4 and died promptly. I also was not able to kill much of anything, 1 drake got in range but wasnt able to wipe the unit.
