STORMTANK'S DEATH GUARD

(Pic Heavy)

This is my blog, so to speak, for my Death Guard army, with Nurgle Daemons allies.

The first unit I completed are my converted Plague Marines, using designs like this. -

The finished unit looks like this.

Next, I'm doing perhaps the most daunting thing I've ever done in my hobby "career" - sculpting my own Great Unclean One, or Ku'Gath to be exact.
I don't like the Games Workshop model, and I know that there's a new one coming but I still wanted to try my hand at my own.

I used air-drying clay to build a rough base for the plaguefather, then began slapping on the Green Stuff.

More Green Stuff!

Starting to smooth it down and build up facial features.

Green Stuff for the Green Stuff God!

For some reason, this GUO seems to be ridiculously anti-photogenic. Oh well.

Will update with more as I do it! Thanks for viewing, any comments or criticism are welcome.
Cheers,
Stormtank.

Loving it all. So jealous of your sculpting skills.

More work on the Great Unclean One. Just a little bit more refining and detail to do, but the main bulk of him is done.

Please, comments and criticism are welcome
