it's been a while since my Prodigal Sons army has received any new reinforcements so I figured its about time to show them some love.
First up are my Rubric terminators



here you can see the very simple plasticard work to create the head crests

Really nice paintjob. For such an easyish conversion it really pulls the model together into the TS style.

Thanks, the flame is from the flaming chariot of tzeentch kit. I bought one for the disc for a sorcerer im working on and it comes with a ton of great flames to add to other models

So my vision of Ahriman's warband is a core of thousand sons units surrounded by lots of small traitor warbands that make up the more expendable forces.

Formerly the 8th Co. of the Imperial Blades that were lost in the warp only to reemerge as the Brotherhood of the Flame. They mostly comprise of Raptors, Warptalons(still wip) and possessed.




A Squad of Blood Ravens from the missing 5th Company known as "the Fated"


Ahitophel's Fallen. who have joined up under Ahriman's banner for the time being

Great use of the flames XD. The concept of this army is very creative. So you don't have to paint blue forever hehe.

In that last photo, where are those power claws (lightning claws) from on that model? Would those be from the Raptor Kit?

Thousand Sons are one of the legions I was considering if I ever decide to go back to Chaos (once my Eldar are done).

I am also loving the dark elf conversions for your cultists. The fallen look wicked too.

Thanks guys for the kind words. The Thousand Sons are one of those armies that I fell in love with when I began the hobby years ago but am just now getting around to building them. Im working on getting some full army shots as well as photographing the their Daemon allies next.

Nice stuff, I like your paint style, that dread is awesome: the sharp highlights in the blue areas work so well with the gold trim areas.
