Whats the point of 2 lords? Is he just to give fearless to cultist? Give the one on the bike the burning brand and turbo boost in to use the flamer. Oh and give bikers melta guns instead so they can ride up to the rear armor and penetrate thru.

Drop a squad of 5 plague Marines and take 10 tacticals with plasma to provide extra numbers and deter deep striking units from trying to land to close.... 20 rapid fire bolters is better than 10 from 5 very expensive plague marines.

Good call. I have some unassembled marines somewhere
What do you think about the lack of skyfire if you imagine a tournament setting?

I did think about dropping the lord and the cultists.
What do you suggest i take instead?

These are my suggested changes, I don't have the dex to hand so you'll have to check the points.


Lord - MoN, Bike, Powerfist, Lightning Claw (He now has an ap2 and an ap3 weapon and gains an extra attack as they are both specailist weapons).


Plague marines x6 - melta x2, rhino - 190 (I'd reserve this to stop First blood being given away, also gives you something to capture or contest with later in the game).

Plague marines x6 - plasma x2 - 150 (Drop the Rhino here, these guys should be taking midtable and looking after backfield).

Plague marines x6 - plasma x2 - 150 (Add another dude here).


Heldrake - Baleflamer - 170

Bikers x5 - MoN, Plasma x2, PF - 195

Bikers x5 - MoN, Plasma x2, PF - 195

Obliterators x3 (3 Oblits need VoTLW otherwise they will run at some stage with LD8, personally I prefer sets of 2 with MoN).

You can look at more Oblits and/or potentially Terminators, dropping a Bike squad and making a slightly bigger unit making room for another Helldrake.
If you feel extra troops are needed look at taking a 10 Man cultist squad and have it reserved to take a backfield objective later in the game.

Nah, but do I really need AP 2 and AP:3? I guess I get +1A, shred, and get to attack on my intitiative vs +3 armor for 15 points.

One obliterator, so they're 2+2 would be nice. Another heldrake too, I do need more anti air.

I could also bring:

Herald - jugg, axe of khorne, exhalted loci(hatred)- 135

Flesh hounds x15 - 240

Plague bearers x10 - 90

They would bring some more bodies to the field and pack a better punch in CC than the bikes.
