I'm not sure if this is the right forum but i just wanted to know what you guys would recommend for my growing Dark Angels army. I currently own the following.
All of the Dark Vengeance Dark Angels
One 5 man squad of Deathwing Knights
One Tactical squad
One Venerable Dreadnought
I'm a pretty big fan of termis but from what I've heard its not really a good idea to run a pure terminator force. The points brackets i usually play at are anywhere between 750-1500 points i that makes any difference

Get Belial to make termiators troops, maybe another termie squad to take advantage of the former.

Hi, I'm a DA player too. But how about I ask you the following instead. After a few games witht the models you have? what tickles your fancy? you like the deathwing? ravening? or greenwing?

If you like playing with deathwing, do you deploy them in beginning or during reserves? Bikes are a good support choice for DW.

Have you tried running a large 10man DW squad?

My favorite both model and fluff wise are the Deathwing. I usually like to deep strike the Deathwing in behind my enemies line but every time it seems i've been able to do that they just get obliterated as they cant assault the turn they deepstrike in so they just get shot to all hell. Maybe i should take out the dread ive been bringing and some other upgrades to free up some room and try a 10 man squad like you suggested.

If you run a lot of deathwing, then you need to mix some SS/TH terminators into the squad! No more then 2 normally or you cut into your shooting too much.

Belial, Sammeal and Azareal would be good choices, to help give you more flexibility for troop choices.

Concider getting a Landraider as a transport for the Deathwing Knights.

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

North of your position

Buy some more terminators, and Belial.
I also suggest some Ravenwing and Black Knights, so you can bring in some teleport homers behind the enemy lines.

Just like tyranids when deep striking you have to give them more than one target priority. Sadly 40k rules doesn't play fluffily.

So when deep striking plan ahead to get two or three threats on the board and make your opponent pay for ignoring one of your threats

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Ok, that must've been my mistake, last game i played in deep struck some deathwing knights behind a blob of necron warriors and i got rapid fired to oblivion

Problem with DA, is they have alot fewer minis. So you have to make sure that is you are going to "sacrifice" a group, that would mean another group will not be shot at and will be able to hold it's objective, what ever it may be.

Don't let your opponent piece meal your force apart one at a time. So if you want to be D/S, have maybe 6 units D/S and since 1/2 have to be left in reserve, you can have 3 D/S on turn one, and then alpha strike those termie units.

Normally I use my DSing termies to destroys the most dangerous thing in the opponents's army.

I use Belial in a 10 man shooty squad to feth up an entire enemy unit first turn. Twin linked heavy Flamers are nice. Meanwhile a unit of knights rolls up in a LR. That's a lot in your face turn 1 while CMLs are pummeling you from my backfield.
