Hi, all.
Over the last few days I've been converting and assembling my first Wraithknight. I'm not sure if it'll see much table play, but I loved the model and needed to add one to
my craftworld.
I had three main goals for the model:
1. Give it proper, classic Eldar back vanes so that it fits in well with the gradient from Wraithguard to Phantom,
2. Have it holding its weapon(s) in front of it, in the manner of a Dark Reaper Exarch, and
3. Make a fully cloth sashimono so that it hangs well at the scale of the model (no masking tape for this one!)
I think I've met those goals. Here are some of the in-progress pics of the model. Painting begins tomorrow!
After the completion of the legs and torso, with the back vanes completed:
All of the pieces complete but disconnected:
And the test-fitting, with all of the pieces in place. There will also be two cables running from the back to the rear of the weapon and his left arm, but those can't be put into place until the model is entirely assembled, which won't happen until after painting is complete.
