Again, you present great battle reports. Can't wait for the next one.

I've noticed that where you play, however, seems a little sparse on terrain. Is this normal for you guys. The tables look cool, but it seems shooting armies would really dominate.

Play what army you want to play, regardless of others' opinions. I like to change lists around a bit just to see what combinations work well and when I paint new units, I liked to give them a go. Before an RTT, if given the chance, I'll playtest a few armylists to see what seems to work and not be too offensive to my opponents. Other times, like the GD RTT of late, I didn't get to play the list once, so it was relying totally on Theoryhammer.

Cool report and kudos to your group for having such diverse armies there.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Great army and report. I love to see people who put great fluff anf coversions on their army. I hate when poeple put no thought or time in their army.

Sweet batrep!
The pictures are good and the text is sparse, just the way I like it.

lol nice to see those 2nd ed orks, i have a feeling that they will never not have a place in someones ork army lol.

i agree i usually have one set list all the time i hate "tooling" up lists, i feel it cheats the game somewhat. Which is one of the reasons i hate playing at gw stores because most players like to ask what you have BEFORE making a list (sucks up so much game time...).

of course there are times that i want to test new things, but its never tailored to fight a certain opponent

A little light on the terrain, but otherwise a cool report. Capt k

Good report. Classic refused flank - kudos for sticking to your list in spite of the power of choppas over termies. Part of me wants to say they should have been teleporting, and your tacs might have been better off in their rhinos - your army looks semi-mobile but you seem to have stuck to a line approach. (gets out of armchair)

I'm curious if you know what models Ben used for his trukks?

When soldiers think, it's called routing.
