I got a resin model off ebay this week and wanted to strip it, and ended up using Dot 4+ brake fluid to do it according to some youtube tutorials.
But my mini came out with the plastic really soft and spongy (not deformed) and some pieces broke off which more than likely had damage to begin with, the model was not in very good shape to begin with..
My experience here tells me that I will leave the brake fluid for metal models, but what can I use instead for plastic models that is readily available in EU or Sweden in particular?
I would love to try LA Awesome, but I dont think we have that over here.

Off to buy a new molding of the mini, hopefully I can find a metal version of it

Hmm, I tried googling it, it doesn't seem readily available anywhere in Sweden..
Is it one of the better solutions for stripping plastic models?
Wonder if its possible to order from the UK..

Seems hard to find that in Sweden as well, I'm sure there's something similar available, but I have no idea under what name...
