Subject: a sudden thought concerning wierdboys 'eadbanger resolution...

the weirdboy rolls a 1, and the book says 'resolve the frazzle psychic power centered on the weirdboy'.
i also know that the weirdboy can replace his leadership with the number of orks in the squad, as per mob rule, even for psychic tests (up to 10).
so here's the idea: if the weirdboy rolls 'eadbanger, he'll have to roll a psychic test to see if he does it first, as it's a psychic power being resolved. if the wierdboy was in, say, a unit of gretchin with 2 runtherders, could he elect to use a leadership value of 3 (the number of orks in the unit) and so almost guarantee failing the test, nullifying the result? this could also work on a small mob of meganobz, who can work in small numbers, to remove results you don't want, like 'ere we go after you've lined up a charge.
thoughts?

You need to pass the Psychic test before you roll on the chart.

The Psychic test is taken before rolling on the table to find out which power you get (page 37 Ork Codex).

Not to mention the fact that runtherds don't have mob rule IIRC?

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS. |

Yeah thought it was FAQ'd. Could be wrong.
Just checked.
Ork Codex FAQ p.1 says:
Page 50 and 100 – Runtherds.
The special rules ‘Waaagh!’ and ‘Mob Rule’ should be deleted
