I get to decide which pods drop for the different situations and the blob has a 4++ and prescience. This should be able to strip wounds of MCs and hurt AV13. Let me know what you think.

If you're going to use sniper rifles I'd drop the 5 man lascannon squad and ratlings for 9 scouts w/sniper rifles.

I'd probably find 10pts somewhere for comlinks in the CCS and the Platoon too.

So you have 5 lascannons shooting at 1 target with that blob. Typically the azrael blob is a force that moves up and threatens your opponent as you move it to the middle of the field and it then pretty much threatens everything with massed lasgun fire. In most blobs you want to have melta bombs and power axes on your sergeants so they can destroy walkers and put out ap2 shots on monstrous creatures. I also suggest using maybe a basic commissar so if you deny and azrael is picked to sit out then you wont lose his LD bonus.

Take plasma guns also in the blob, and power axes on the sergeants in said blob.
