Hey, just moved to the area and looking for a gaming community in the porterville / Visalia area. I play 40k but wouldn't mind starting up warmachines, infinity, or necromunda.

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

Hobbytown USA in Fresno has game nights on Friday nights, and usually has 40k tournaments once a month. There's another store in Fresno called the Angry Squirrel which I think has events as well... not sure though as I don't live in the area anymore.

Yeah feel free to swing by hobby town, every Friday from 6pm to 12pm we have anywhere from 6 to 14 players, with tons of tables and terrain for your games. You can also come earlier from 10am to 5pm for a group of model painters that get together. Quite a few of the 40k guys show up for that as well.
I know its quite a drive but its loads of fun, always looking for new faces. Hobby town also has monthly tournaments you can go on their website or call for information on those.
Hope to see you there!

It is the rule in war, if ten times the enemy's strength, surround them; if five times, attack them; if double, be able to divide them; if equal, engage them; if fewer, be able to evade them; if weaker, be able to avoid them. - Sun Tzu
