Here are some shots of the surface of the Death Star.
They are made from sprue bits glued onto blocks of shaped Styrofoam.

I can take a few more when i get home this afternoon.
I made the cloth out of just grey cloth from Wal-Mart and white spray paint shot over a drop down cieling fixture--the kind that has a "grid" on it.
The can was held at an angle and shot against the edges of the grid.

It looks awesome. I really want to build a trench run scenario for my gaming group, and also put together a trench to run it on. I may buy comic boards to build gun towers and a sheet of insulation for the trench itself. Do you run scenarios on the board you out together? Or just kill points?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

We so far have been running kill point battles on the surface...we have the trench run stuff printed out from GBG, but I havent built enough towers to populate the surface enough..i am making more towers.
So far its been fun just manuvering around the obstacles.
We treat them like asteroids.
