5 Lfs with MLs come to 115 points but for another 20 (LF + HB), you get an extra "meat shield" along with the Sergent.
Is this worth it considering the HB dosent really synergise with the MLs (unless light infantry hunting)?
The extra guy allows 2 ablative wounds before your MLs start going down.
Taking 2x6 man squads gives you potentially 4 ablative wounds.

Any thoughts?

well longfangs can split fire so you could shoot the heavy bolter on a different target (as long the sgt lives) what i usualy do is: put a wolfguard in termi armour in fornt of the unit (it soaks a crapton of wounds)

Better than spending 18 points for a PAed Wolf Guard who only has a bolt pistol!

Slap a Wg with a Storm Sheild in there instead. That is a meatsheild worth taking

SS has to be taken with TA though no?
So thats 18+25 +5=48
HB LF is 20?

Basically Im trying to get a cheap meatshield :p (probably behind an aegis).
