I recently got these in a lot of marines in a trade.
They all have Blood Angel iconography on them, and I thought they were Honor Guard, but evidently those are more of an "action pose" with jump packs. They MIGHT be older veterans, but am unaware of the history of metal Blood Angels...
They came with no backpacks, but I have plenty of plastic ones if that is what they had, but if they had special metal packs, I know they were not in the box.
Any better assistance would be nice. Also, maybe a year or era? I believe by their look that they JUST BARELY predate finecast, but... ??

They all have a winged blood drop shoulderpad, thus I assumed Blood Angels..

Are you sure it's a blood drop and not an oval like they have on the chest?
The oval gem with wings was a common chest type for 2nd edition marines. These veterans seemed to have been designed with a homage to those earlier marines.
