I'm confused on whether to take crimson hunters for aa or to take another unit instead. I just don't know what else the eldar have though for AA apart from allies

aegis can cause an army to have to be static or at least a portion. The wave serpent is not a reliable AA. the shield itself is too random, and there is not guarentee your rolling a 4 or higher for number of shots.

Warp spiders. Easy to maneuver to rear armor, 2 shots each, S7 against vehicles. Prescience those bad boys for extra awesome.

warp spiders, wave serpents are both very good at killing flyers. Unless you build your list around CH they will likely not be worth it.
