Somewhere in the steamy jungles of the south...

So, since I'm going to be painting up a ton of Infinity models in the next two months, I figured I might as well share pics with you guys! I'm going to be doing stuff from Arianda and YuJing primarily, with Tohaa, Combined, and Aleph thrown in for good measure. I'm trying my best to use the methods of CB insanely-talented studio painter, Angel Giraldez, and am learning a whole lot in the process! I'm really developing my blending and layering skills, and have been forced to refine my techniques to suit the tiny scale of these models. They are "true" 28mm models, meaning they have pretty much the same proportions as you or I would if we were shrunk down to 28mm. This means that everything is tiny! Painting the eyes is especially fun...

Anyways, enough waffling, here are pics of everything I've completed so far! I have a TON more of these models on my desk in varying stage of completion, and will be posting up pics as I finish them.

Here are the Aridnians:

Yujing:

As I said, I have a LOT of models that are WiP. If you want to see that stuff, keep an eye on my thread on the official Infinity website. Linkage here > http://infinitythegame.com/forum/index.php?/topic/17260-tim-paints-ariadna-tohaa-yujing-and-everything-in-between/

Oh, and one more thing: sorry about the inconsistency in photo quality. My camera situatuon has been really chaotic, but I've finally managed to get it under control and have found the perfect settings for my pictures: F-stop at 16, 6/7 second exposure, and ISO 100. I used those settings on the pics of the Zouaves (the sitting/squatting Aridnians), and will be using these settings from here on out.

Thanks for looking, and please, leave me feedback!

Infinity models are in the top four slots in P&M showcase right now! Pretty cool. All your paintjobs are great but I especially like those merovingians. The muddy capes on the loup garous are top notch.

Awesome, isn't it? Good to see such a great game getting strong representation on a big forum like Dakka. And thanks for the compliment! The Garous are definitely my favorites as well.

Right! Finished painting a Crane Rank Imperial Agent! Freehanding the design on the edges of its cloak was a real challenge, given the irregular, wavy nature of it.

Enjoy the pics!

Beautiful job! Blue and orange is always a winner and you've executed it with such skill.

Cheers, Casey! The colors really do go together nicely.

Oh, and I figured out why some of my photographs were becoming all fuzzy after being uploaded through Photobucket. I was going the JPEG way at 100% quality, but decided to try .PNG-24 instead. The results, I think, speak for themself...

Gonna be using these settings for all my shots in future!
