I've always wanted a deathwing army, and it would be my first foray into playing an imperium army, and using vehicles in general, so i'd much appreciate feedback on the hopeful list.

Playing Deathwing is purely a fluff/fun/friendly endeavor. They are not competitive. Having said that, a couple tweaks that will get you closer to viability even in a friendly environment:

Lose the DWCB and get a dakka banner. The land raiders literally quadruple their killing power, which you need.

You need at least one PFG in this army. I prefer the libby on a bike with one because of the T5 but if you're going all-fluff, keep him in TA. He walks behind because, unlike the banner, it cannot project from inside a vehicle.

Lightning claws are crap. I would have 1 TH/SS in there instead per team for the 3++ invul while he lives.

This will be strictly a "fun" army, don't expect any miracles; that said here's how I would tweak it:

Belial, TH/SS
Libby, TDA, Force axe, displacer field, lvl 2
DW command squad, champ, 4 TH/SS, CML, dakka banner

DW termies x5, assault cannon
DW termies x5, assault cannon

LRC, MM, storm bolter, dozer blade, extra armor
LRC, MM, storm bolter, dozer blade, extra armor
LRC, MM, storm bolter, dozer blade, extra armor

That comes to 2000pts on the dot. 74 twin-linked bolter shots per turn. Try to lean out the field with the LRCs for as long as you can then assault with the termies...
