Veil-tek is 60 points, yo. (there goes your last 5 points)

Wait, what?
Am I seeing this right?
You're putting ResOrb Lords in units of 10 Warriors?
You're giving your Wraiths Particle Casters instead of Whip Coils?
You've got flyers, but you're using a Quad Gun instead of a Comms Relay?
...
How long have you been playing 6th/Necrons?

- 12 wraith divided into 2 squads of 6. the 2 particle casters are on the first wraith in each squad, so as to save points, because the first models will soak up wounds during the initial advance

- the only real purpose of those 20 warriors (divided into squads of 10) with the res orbs is to camp on objectives late into the game (turn 4 or 5), so i want them to be tough as nails to dislodge, hence the rez orbs. essentially my whole army is a giant distraction from the real threat: the necron warriors arriving in at the end of the battle to steal objectives (note that imotekh can veiltek his butt out of any situation, and join a squad of 5 warriors bringing them with him, in the blink of an eye -- abandoning the bastion if it gets overrun. in addition to this he can then capture another objective since he has warriors with him)

- i've learned through experience that if my opponent has flyers, the one who brings his flyers in first will have them shot down, so i want them to come in late, not early

- the quad gun is for attacking other flyers that my opponent might bring to the table, although it can be pointed at troops as well

i've actually tested this list out massively over the summer, i'm just here because still open to ideas

Uhh, if you want objective sitters who will be "tough as nails", then perhaps Warriors might not be your best choice.
Anything half decent at CC will wipe them, ResOrb or not.

As far as Nightscythe tactics go, everyone knows about the whole wait-till-the-last-couple-turns-to-dislodge-troops thing, so expect counters.
Being the case, if you're giving Warriors a ResOrb to sit on objectives, you're doing it wrong.

ok if i'm doing it wrong what's your opinion of the right way of doing it? and how would you change this list?

The Warriors in Nightscythes are only there for objective grabbing, right?
If so, they shouldn't be setting foot onto the table until turn 5.
You don't need 10 Warriors to do that, let alone a ResOrb Lord.

If, on the other hand, you want to capture and hold objectives, you'll need either 10 Tesla Immortals (if they're holding, they're going to be overwatching. Tesla is best for that) or 15+ Warriors, with Lord and Cryotek support (the ResOrb is not worth its points unless you're fully committing to it).

And ffs, get a few Whipcoils on those Wraiths.

Very cool thank you! at first you didn't seem convinced by this list at all (i agree: landing on turn 4 or 5 is what i do)

seeing things tweaked a little, do you think it has potential as being balanced/TAC and/or tournament worthy?
