I got some bits lots and there are many odd things. I wont bore you with all of them but there are 2 I want to know the origin of.

#1 looks like a skinless cyborg ape. the thing he is on looks like an olf metal disc of tzeentch so I don't know if this is an old chaos model or another company with a chaos bit.

#2 is a dead guardsman holding a wired up bomb. Its cast in the grey forgeworld resin, but it looks like it was cut free from a larger display.

Gathering the Informations.

First one looks to be an old CSM of some kind.

The second is a part of Forge World's "Cities of Death" terrain strategem markers and was used to show a booby trap.

The first one is this thing: http://store.wargamingtrader.com/item/c2220

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

unfortunately no. its smooth. I thought it was standard practice to stamp the base with a company name/year or artist name at least.

it could be the missing parts that are key, I know Iron wind and the pulp city guys put all the info on the metal casting flash/gate/sprue bits.

Could have been filed smooth. I thought for a minute that they are Ral Partha Dwarf Automatons, but no.

They look a bit like automatons for The Great Rail War... but I do not remember those poses.

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.
