I am thinking about picking up 3 or 4 Burning Chariot kits to build my Screamer star but I have some questions.
What would be the best way to attaching the screamers to a base being that the tail is part of the flames that the disk is riding on? I have a few ideas on how to do this.
1. I could just glue the flames on a base and have the Screamer handing way over the front end. Easiest.
2. Carve the tail out of the flames and touch it up with a bit of green stuff then use a flying base. Cheaper.
3. Buy tail bits off of ebay and use some flying bases. Easy but will cost more money.
What would be the best way to attach the disk to a base?
1. Again I could carve the tails out and use the flames. I really like this idea.
2. Use flying bases. Easy but just not as cool.

Thanks!!!

The chariot kit comes with one les screamer than the regular kit so if youre just after screamers it's not that efficient. Also doesn't include flying bases. However it does come with a million extra bits so if it's just to supplement your tzeentch army then yeah totally worth it, you can make 2 heralds on discs with the extras.

I'd say cut out the tails and use the flames, mostly because it's what I did. You get a bunch of fire bits to make stands from. Also, the tails and mouths from the regular screamer kit fit onto the chariot screamers so you can mix and match.

Well a full screamer star is 4 Heralds on disks and 9 screamers. The Heralds on disks cost $40 just by its self so getting the BC kit I am getting almost all the screamers I need for free. What bits did you use to make 2 disks out of 1 box? Also, do you have any pics of your screamers?

Hadn't realized heralds were that expensive. Yeah the chariot kit is a way better deal for making screamer stars.

Basically the chariot kit is an outer ring with 2 different discs you can put in the middle. You can use the big flamer guy on the smoother disc and put the outer ring on that one to make it big enough for him. Then you use the leftover disc for the smaller herald. The kit comes with enough spikes and gubbins that both can get plenty of decorations. And it comes with 2 flaming stands, one for each of them.
I don't have any pictures of mine but I ended up magnetizing the stands so they could be either heralds or an actual burning chariot.

Maybe one day I'll actually run it as a chariot :<

I see what you are saying. I really dont like the idea of having 1 big disk using the otter ring and 1 small disk without an outer ring. Guess ill have to get the kit and see how it looks.
Thanks.

Thinking that ill mount the disks using the flames and mount the screamers using the tentacles looking things. The one questions I still have is if I am going to leave the tails attached to the flame or cut out the tails and glue the flames under the screamrs
