The Thunderfires deploy into some Bolstered ruins. The Stormtalons are air defense, etc. Tacticals drop onto objectives as needed or go down to pop armor, again, if needed. The 10-man Sternguards Drop and unload on the enemy - either as a full or two 5-man. Whatever is most advantageous. Pedro drops with his group and thrashes whatever. Has 5-7 scoring units and 41 Marines on the table.

What do you folks think? Will this hold up in today's metagame?

It's a pretty good list, have you considered a stormraven? Talons can escort them and they have better survivability.
