Abra Khadibryss!

Really annoying name to type. I'm sure i've misspelt it somewhere.

A client has very kindly sent me a Cauldron of Blood Set and Shadowblade so expect to see a few more additions to the Druchii race on this page, even if they aren't part of the Black family.

Awesome. Simply, awesome! Great work, Myles. I love this. The transition between scales and underbelly is so nice and smooth. Great color palette. Unfortunately, I feel like the tamers/handlers get a little lost, but there isn't really a way around that, given the beast itself. I was surprised that you didn't really comment on the kit. How was it? As a monstrous creature (or WHFB equivalent), how well did it fit together? Are there any bits in there for extra fun, that we maybe haven't seen (other than hydra heads)? I feel like GW sometimes throws in some sweet bits on their larger models, that aren't always highlighted.

Cheers guys!

I've written up how I do the drool on the blog - it's UHU glue strung out. Try mixing it with inks for some awesome effects.

@ Moltar; The handlers aren't the focus of the piece and they definitely do suffer in comparison to the dynamic "RAWWWWRRING" monstrosity. The handlers are really nice models and they'd happily be stand alone pieces.

I've found the recent fantasy releases to be exceedingly easy to put together. Mould lines are very easy to clean (if they are there at all) and I think the kits have been designed try and eliminate them all together. Breaking up the sculpt digitally has been an absolute god send.

I wouldn't sat that this kit was chock full of nice extras to use throughout your force. The Hydra heads are good to have to kit bash but you don't get much more. If you don't attach the handlers you have two very nice beastmasters to use elsewhere in the army.

I've been given a Cauldron of Blood to paint up for a client and that kit is choking with added extras. Helberon, Death Hags, the Gorgon and the sumptuous cauldron add up to one amazing model. Don't be put off by the Helberon scuplt - the body is fantastic, really elegant and slender. A head swap and arm swap will really put a different complexion on this model.
