Hey guys, so I guess the guy at walmart gave me a can of gloss black instead of matte black because there is no way to tell the two cans apart, so long story short I ended up spraying all my models with it before I realized it. I'm wondering if I should try to highlight the black with gray, or just leave it as is. I'm not sure if the artificial highlights will look terrible on the gloss black.

You can see the far right is not glossed but yeah any opinions on what to do would be appreciated.

Should be a simple fix to just hit it with some matt varnish.

Should kill the shine right away.

Yes, matt varnish.

one VERY IMPORTANT TIP: Test first!!!

Many many threads are on here because there was a problem with the varnish (distance, humidity, etc.).

Take a piece of plastic or junk model, and spray it first with your varnish, to get to working with it.

best of luck!

I would suggest highlight before hitting them with matt varnish.
