So, i've written a 1750 DA list for the tournament in my area, but it's not yet official and still got some doubts. Lets start with the list:

HQ

Librarian on bike with PFG

Ravenwing Command Squad (5 men) dakka banner one grenade launcher

ELITE

Dreadnought with double TL autocannons

Dreadnought with AC

TROOPS

Tactical (5 men) with Plasma Cannon

Tactical (5 men) with Lascannon

Tactical (10 men) with Meltagun and MM

FAST ATTACK

Ravenwing Attack Squadron (6 men) with two Meltaguns, also an Attack Bike with MM

HEAVY SUPPORT

Devastator Squad (6 men) with 4 ML and 3 Flakk Missles

So my way of playing it is putting the 10 men tactical into the LR, drop pod the AC dread and usually keep a "bubble" formed by the LR, RW command squad and the squadron for a invuln bubble and also the dakka bubble, devastators, and the two others tactical usually sit behind camping on objective and shotting with heavy weapons. I've found this usefull against necrons and tyranids, haven't yet tested it against anything else. What do you think? would it be competive (at least semi) in the tournament? (there are many chaos and marines players, some IG, a tyranid player one or two Tau, one Eldar and one DE/Eldar player)

Anyway i'm not totally sure about this list, as i was thinking of dropping the AC dread, putting an apot in the RW command and that would leave me with 90 points left, and i got two options:

1) adding a typhoon, giving a combi-weap to the biker serg and melta bombs to the command squad

2) giving the librarian ML 2 but then i would have 55 points i don't know how to use

About option 1 i know a single LS will die quickly but those are always two missles plus a fast target on which my opponent could waste some fire, basically i'm thinking of that as a suicide unit.

Any thoughts? I'm open to all advice and comments, so go ahead!
