Ok just a quick one, I'm thinking of getting the suppliment but was wondering do you still need the space marine codex to go with it. I'm referring to unit costs etc. I have the marine dex but its currently doing the rounds with my friends so prob won't see it for awhile. If I don't need it however then my finger will no longer be hovering over the purchase button.

You will need the codex, the supplement is mostly fluff with only a few pages of rules, like extra relics and stuff.
