Line of sight for a Vehicle mounted weapon system is drawn down the length of the barrel. I do see your concern though, as the weapon system in question has no barrel just the missile itself and a tiny mounting that is hard to draw from. I would say, in absence of a barrel, you can use the length of the weapon system that best appropriates what a traditional barrel would look like. Do the usual method of pointing the weapon at the target, if the mounting allows, and then measure from the tail end to the very tip. I would see it as a 'Win at All Cost' argument to draw line of sight out of either the tail end or tip of a one shot missile, depending on what best suits the person arguing this stance. Normally for vehicles the inability to point the weapon system at the target, because it is facing the wrong way, would prevent the weapon from firing.
