I just got into Warhammer 40k, I made my 500 point chaos marine army fully tournament legal a few days ago. With my first army ready for battle (Waaagh. )I went to my local hobby store, that, last time I was there, advertised warhammer Wednesdays in the back room. When I entered, the advertisements for the Wednesday games were gone (more posters of warhammer 40k and more were models in stock for some reason) but no players were present and the gaming table was being used as a shelf to sell remote control cars.
I spoke with an employee who put me on a phoning list if players do show up, but he seemed confused and I never received a call...
Long story short, I live near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland, anyone know where I can find a game?

If you're willing to cross the bridge, you have Dropzone Games and Games and Stuff as options in Glen Burnie. Or just hope 50W to Bowie for the Battle Bunker. I don't know of any gaming stores on the Eastern Shore though...

There are some Annapolis -area gamers, but atter GW closed the Annapolis store, I'm not sure where they all congrate anymore. I'm in the area, but only for a couple more weeks then I"m moving to Ellicott City...

I saw that the store in Annapolis closed, I was really disappointed, but I'm in an area near the Bowie bunker quite often, that might be the best place to go.

If you don't mind the drive, I'd suggest visiting both Games & Stuff and Dropzone. They both have plenty of gaming space, and it's always nice (from my experience) to break out of the GW HHHHobby and see what else is out there...

I'm in sykesville and recommend dropzone, awesome owner and cool place. I'm off on weds. May have to hop down there early to see if I can get a game in!

I'll have to check out Dropzone myself. I've been looking for places to play. I work out of Millersville but live in Southern MD.

Conveniently though, my armies are in Arnold at a friends house. Would like to get together with others and get some games under my belt.
