While I haven't done a piece-by-piece check of all my Deadzone minis, I have found an issue with the Deluxe Gaming Mat. Being folded in quarters to fit in the big box, it has a big lump right in the middle where the folds cross. Can anyone suggest a way to flatten it back out?

You can probably fix it with the stunning, amazing and truly awe-inspiring paperweight GW puts out called "warhammer fantasy: the rulebook". Weighing in at 5ish pounds, this book will become useless in another couple months as we ramp up for 9th edition fantasy.

Ok, in all seriousness, a heavy book keeping the mat flat will probably help, but I'm sure you won't want to do that before every game. Try flattening it out, then roll it up loosely with a stretchy rubber band.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

Mine had the same problem. Its has been sitting under heavy books since Monday. It hasn't made it perfect but has helped considerably and made it usable.

I ended up just popping my Deadzone box on top of it. After a few days I came back and it was perfectly flat. But then, the backlog I'm working with kind of means I can leave stuff in limbo like that, I assume most other Deadzone backers actually opened and emptied their box within the first few days of getting it (I think I opened it to grab the book out and little else so far).
