It specifically states that: "all models are treated as a single unit. They cannot leave the unit, or join other units, even if they are Independent Characters."

My question is: can other ICs join them? For example, add a chaplain to the "Masters of the Chapter" formation.

Other ICs can join them.

The ICs that make up the Formation just basically lose the IC rule(but are then a unit that is comprised of more than 1 model).

So what was your question about Psychic Choirs?
