Come to the Boston Battle Bunker (in Harvard Square), and join the Arvard 'Ard Boyz. Tonight. Every Wednesday they keep the store open till around midnight for us. You can try the club out for free but it does cost $25/year, which gets you a monogrammed t-shirt, and discounts on some event fees, and a weekly raffle; as well as gaming at more convenient hours with a more serious group of players. Alternately pick-up games on Saturday are easy but the crowd is younger/less-experienced/less painted etc. And tell the WoW people that there are attractive real people at the club night.

If your transportation isn't limited to the T, Manchester, NH is only an hour north of Boston. Empire Games is easy to get to and if you come up 93 as opposed to Route 3 it's toll free! Can anyone play at that Bunker on Wednesday nights or is it usually 'Ardboyz only? What time do players usually arrive?

@Zamboni: The 'Ardboyz meet on Wednesday nights, and the club does have a membership fee, but we won't harrass someone about it the first couple of times he shows up. If you want to come and play for a week or two, and then make the decision as to whether you want to join, feel free! The bunker is at 11 Dunster St. in Cambridge, by the way. On any given Wednesday, there are a crowd and several games in progress by 8:30.

I thought about the Manchester store. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the T and bringing my 40k stuff on the T doesnt appeal to me is there parking available? The boston battle bunker... is that the GW store or is it completely different?
Also have you guys heard of Your Move Games? 25% off all 40k stuff. Its in Somerville... Davis Square.

Wow has regressed them all psycologically. Ill try the lollypop approach... "You should go, there will be free candy!"

Yes, Battle Bunker = GW Store.
Parking where? Manchester store, yes. Battle Bunker, no
Your Move games is only 2 stops away from the Battle Bunker by the T. If you don't mind a walk it's not that far from the Porter stop... Never came at it by way of the Davis stop. How long is the 25% off going for? I may have to stop by next week!
If you bribe people with candy use Easter candy, it only comes once a year unless you can actually catch that blasted Cadbury bunny!

Your move Games is closer to the Davis stop.
Several of the 'Ard boyz drive to the store on Wednesdays and park. If you don't mind a five minute walk then it isn't a big deal. And the T isn't that bad. I normally walk but when I was having back problems I took the bus without an issue. Remember it's Wednesday night, and not rush-hour or a weekend.

Or if you just want to drive to the bunker, the Charles St Garage is $15 flat rate from 5PM until it closes at 1AM. $2 off if you validate the parking stub. I usually get in, drop my stuff off at the bunker and get some dinner before the games begin.

@Zamboni As long as I have been playing 40k which is about 3 years it has been 25% off.
Maybe I will try battle bunker on wednesday. $15 to park isnt that bad but I have classes on wednesday. Maybe during the summer.

Greetings Empire has a good sized gathering Tuesdays (open till 11pm)and sundays Noon till 6pm for random 40K play and players. Right now we have space for 8 tables but we are moving to a larger space in the Mill area and plan on a total of 16 gaming tables in about 5000 square feet. We also have a good size Warmachine following if you play? Plenty of free parking and walking distance to many fast food and sub shops.

I *just* started playing ... my roomie used to play and I'm hoping to help re-kindle his interest. We're in the Mission Hill area of Boston. Harvard Sq. is a bit of a hike and I work 2nd shift ... but hopefully the store will be open on Mondays soon ...

We have a regular game on Saturdays in Tewksbury MA. On a normal day its about 30 minutes north of the city. For those of you looking to augment your weekly gaming fix, we've got 4 tables, good/bad/ugly opponants and a fridge. The group is pretty loose and a generally lots of fun. Currently we're playing "Vogan II: Stoopid Oomies" as the Imperial tries to take back the planet. Email me at aaron_montague@yahoo.com for directions to the Saturday game. -Aaron Also, I'm looking for weekday Mordheim/Necromunda/Warband action, anyone know of any?
