I've got some spare points to in my list. I'm using a stock Wraithknight as the only wraith construct in my list and I was thinking about making it my Warlord and giving my Jetseer a Wraithforge Stone. But 30 points is a lot, so I wanted to ask people who've used it. Was it worth it for you?

If your running multiple wraith constructs, it is well worth the points. You want multiple lords/knights ready to get buffed. The problem is the short range of the stone: on a foot far/spiritseer, wraithknights are usually out of range, but a lord or 2 nearby is worth it. Regen of wounds is handy, but a smart opponent will either try to coup the knight in a single turn, kill the bearer or just ignore it. I like it, but make sure your farseer has a decent bodyguard. It should all but ensure you don't give up slay the warlord. To boot, all the Iyanden warlord traits are fantastic, particularly on a knight.

My use has been on a spiritseer in a 10 man wraithguard squad with 2 lords nearby as an escort. If I manage to roll renewer, my constructs are all but unstoppable.

Hmm, well, I've been thinking of adding it to my 1750 Spearstar list.

Farseer on a Jetbike with Singing Spear(and Wraithforge stone)
Autarch on a Jetbike with Fusion Gun, Laser Lance, Banshee Mask, Shard of Anaris

2x3 WRJ with Shuriken Cannon
5 Rangers
9 Dire Avengers in a Wave Serpent with Scatterlaser, Shuriken Cannon

6 Swooping Hawks, Exarch
10 Warp Spiders, Exarch with Spinneret Rifle, Fast Shot
8 Shining Spears, Exarch with Star Lance, Monster Hunter, Hit and Run

3 War Walkers with 6 Scatterlasers
Wraithknight with Heavy Wraithcannons(Warlord)

That's my list. With it, I've played a lot against very tough armies and it's done suprisingly good, and is gradually getting better as I am getting better with it. It's certainly no point and click army.

I usually put Autarch as my Warlord as he's either in a challenge with something that will die from the Shard or he's not fighting at all, while I needed to sacrfice my Farseer several times already when in CC with something really nasty, like getting charged by a flying DP.

But I've been thinking how amazing Iyanden warlord traits are. The least useful gives me +1 DtW. That's the least useful one. Which on the Knight is golden, as it can save that Puppet Master or Psychic Shriek. It's alright for the Autarch as well, but the Knight is near the Shining Spear unit most of the time anyway, so those 6" won't be such a problem, especially as usually either my opponent will totally ignore the Knight or try and shoot him down in a single turn. That often fails(I've never lost him in one round of shooting, in fact, not even when he got shot by two 10-man squads of Sternguard. And if he's able to recharge his wounds after that first turn, that's amazing, as if he suffered a few wounds, most likely the rest of my army is intact.

That's my logic, anyway.

Im surprised you chump the farseer and let the Autarch live. I guess he has a lot of points dumped in and the fearless thing, but the psychic boosts are usually more critical. With the 3 characters, I guess you could hemmorage 2 if charged, then hit and run to safety. The lance and the shard may also be a bit overkill, but if it works for you more power to ya.

Yeah, Iyanden traits are absolutely stupid good. I would argue hatred is not important for the spears if you have prescience up on the charge. Deny is situational but good when your up against enemy psykers(your spear squad would deny on a 3+ with it!)

If your going to make the knight your warlord, then the stone seems worth it. However, you can't be so ready to chump your farseer if your carrying it. Over the course of the game, it should heal 3-5 wounds if both parties survive.

Well, I give away my Farseer more readily than my Autarch cos he has Fearless. If I get charged by a Daemon prince, for example, I'd have to challenge him, since he'd decimate my entire squad, so if I challenge him with my Autarch, I lose Fearless AND lose combat by 3. What that means is that I'd most likely fail morale and be cut down. If I sacrifice my Farseer, I lose the buffs, but after that, the Daemon Prince is dead for sure and the rest of my squad is alive and well.
