2x Tyrant Guard- 100

Flyrant 2x twin devourers- 230

3x Zoanthropes- 150

3x Zoanthropes- 150

2x Venomthropes- 90

3x Hive Crone- 465

This is what I like as a core for the army which comes to 1470. What I need help with is the other 530 points. I used to love warriors but they seem very fragile in the new codex. I was thinking maybe the best way to go for troops would be 4x 20 termagants but I really don't want to push that many models around lol. Suggestions please.

Swarmy is nice but 385 points for an squad that can die to mass small arms fire is kinda rough, mastery 3 is a nice new toy though. honestly id drop him and take a second flyrant a tervigon and a bunch of termis, tervigons arent what they used to be but its still a scoring MC that spits out more scoring units, I still plan on taking atleast one per list.

def drop swarmy and guard for another tyrant. im not sold on venomthropes. easy first blood target and cover just isnt what it use to be w the amount of anti cover weapons. Also agree w a tervigon at least one possibly a norn crown so he can give synapse with ur gaunts out of the killzone when he dies. Ditch venomthropes , swap swarmy guard for tyrant 30 gaunts 2 unit of 20 gaunts. tervigon w crown. that leaves you with 260 pts for heavy. w 2 flyrants you could even go 2 hive crones for more points in heavy. arguably best slot in this dex. hope that helps!
