That's 3 pods turn 1, in all likelihood the sterns + tiggy, the Ironclad and melta tacts to open vehicles and roast some stuff could use Storm of Fire on the sterns turn 1. Turn 2 decent chance of getting 2 more pods and the flyer; Prescience on the sterns and Tactical doctrine for more twin-linkage goodness. Haven't use the attack bikes in a while but I think they could be a decent flank harassment unit, should I try to split one off and find pts for a MM? (could swap the TML for skyhammers on the stormtalon)
I'm not trying to get a WAAC list but something that will hold its own. What do my fellow Dakkanauts think?

It's solid for friendly competition. You've got tools.

I would remove stuff like the lightning claw, vet sgts and hunter killer missiles. I'm also going to assume the SG have a pod of their own. I would also recommend having them have all the same combi-weapon. Give them a job to do for T1. Meltas means bust a big tank, plasmas a riptide or the like, flamers a bunch of kroot or firewarriors etc. They don't survive long enough to be taking different combis to be fired on different turns.

I would lose the HB attack bikes. They're fragile and you really don't need more dakka. A second storm talon would be better but I know you don't want to spam. Instead, drop them, plus all the upgrade stuff I mentioned and the heavy weapons on the tacticals. Then drop 2 SG. Now they're a pure combi-weapon suicide alpha strike. That's 264 points.

With these points, get 3 grav cannon+heavy bolter centurions. You net more firepower, a better place for tiggy to go, more board control and early threat.'

So now, T1 you've got your suicide sternies, IC and probably MG tacs dropping in. The TFC is blaring, the devs are popping another tank or stripping wounds off an MC, BUT, instead of on your opponent's turn 2 him focusing on your vulnerable podded items, he'll be focused on the Tiggy+gravcent death bomb in the middle of the table that just vaped his Wraithknight single handedly.

I do not recommend joining Tiggy in a drop pod in general, and absolutely not in the Stern pod round one.

If your opponent is semi smart, he will kill off sterns and tiggy getting warlord and remove your reserves manipulation.

I prefer him in a 10man strong dev squad with 4 lascannons.
Going for powers like ignore cover and twinlink they can be a painful combo to your opponenet.

Yeah, I should've mentioned what Glasqul said in case you are against my Grav Cent alteration. If you don't do what I recommended, definitely throw him with the devastators.

I appreciate the feedback. From experience Grav cents on foot with Tiggy result in useless Grav cents. People just stay out of the 24" range and blast from a distance, if I run the Grav cents + Tiggy I add a Land Raider for awesomeness. BUT, was trying something different here with the pods.
I get the sternguard comments and sticking tiggy with the Devs is a good idea. They do have their own pod (edited).
Sadly I don't have another stormtalon as I would have brought that instead of the bikes. Also a lot of the upgrades are there due to my liking of WYSIWYG.
