The plan is to deep strike the the unclean one and plague drone squad in to the back lines

Use the greater reward on the unclean one to give him a balesword so he is ID re rolling wounds because of poisoned (4+) (since his str is so high versus most models)

Lastly have the soul grinder shell with the oblits and heldrake to cover the khorne zerks and plague marines approaching in vehicles


Waddya think? any glaring weaknesses or better substitutions?

First of all, the loadout of that lord is meh. Give him the Axe of Blind Fury, and put him on a Juggernaut; he becomes a CC monster of epic proportions. Get rid of the plague marines and replace them with a 5-strong squad of spawn so the Juggerlord can sit in there and form a deathstar. Give the berzerkers one extra marine. The Land Raider in this case is NOT a dedicated transport, but a heavy support choice - also, put a dirge caster on it. You're also not gonna need the rhino. Give the Oblits MoN instead, makes them a fair bit more survivable. For the daemons, I recommend another mastery level on the GUO, and take an Exalted reward as well as a greater. You need a troops choice, so take one barenaked squad of plaguebearers. The Plague Drones are fine, and so is the Soul Grinder.

Anyway I'd suggest you grab the grimoire on the GUO and put it on the drones, itll help them survive tons.

I think you should run kharn with the zerkers in the LR, hes much more powerful than a lord.

grab a dirge caster on the land raider, so that those dirty tau cant overwatch the balls off of you.

I'd separate your list more. Either run all nurgle csm and khorne CD or all khorne CSM and nurgle CD. If you mix and match it will hurt the strength of the list.

Thanks for the advice guys, if i ran Kharn should I use more khorne zerkers? and I have a Typhus, would he be a better choice for a hq than this chaos lord, I could drop the the Khorne zerkers and take typhus with 3 mutilators in the LR
