Me and the Mrs. got slots for the UK 40K GT (The Mrs. got a wildcard due to missing day 2 of heat 3 due to being hospitalised, I got best (only) in race!)
Anyway the Mrs. is taking her newly christened Minotaurs but we are stuck as to what to spend the last 264 points on.

I would spend them on another tac squad. You have 3 scoring, I think another would be good. With the left over points change your captain to a chapter master with shield eternal on bike w/ TH/PF/Shield eternal. if you have any left-over, get more grav-guns on your bike squad that your Chapter master goes with.

I dont really know what to spend points on, probably 2 thunder fire cannons, and the defense line. But one thing that is quite nesissary is removing flakk missiles from the tac. squad. Wasting a whole 10 man unit to shoot 1 s7 missile? and for 10 points? I wouldn't do it if it were free.

If possible :
Drop the flakk on the tac squad (10 points for 1 skyfire shot wasting the rest of the squad is pretty meh)
Drop the vet sgt upgrades (sgts get killed before this is usefull)
Drop the powerfist on the tac squad (sgt gets killed before he'll ever swing)
Give your captain Shield Eternal or at least a stormshield to make him a more durable beatstick than he already is.
Use the 2 TFC's for sure (rain down death upon hordes and bolster 2 ruins)!
Give your tac squad a Razorback (TLLC) and combat squad them (with the ML staying behind bolstered ruins and the rest going in the Razorback).

Drop flakk/vetern/powerfists
2 TFCs are great and with the remaining points upgrade to a CM and buy either shield eternal or gorgons chain.
ALso you have 0 AA so hope they don't spam air.

The Mortis Contemptor can get interceptor and skyfire if he remains stationary (so that'll be 4 s7 twin linked shots and 2 s8 shots) so I have some AA.
Lances are staying, its an aesthetic choice and goes with the Minoan/Greek theme of the Minotaurs.
It seems the 2 TFC is the consensus across the boards I've posted this on, along with the shield eternal for the Captain. I'm now considering dropping the flakk missile. Its a 10 point target of opportunity thing, combat squadded off it does not have that much impact on the sqaud, esp if they are hiding in a ruin with a 3+ cover save.
May drop the PF from the Tac sqaud and the Vet upgrade and go with a combi weapon of some sort instead. That frees up 25(ish) points

Even if you combat squad the 5 guys, thats a 10 point upgrade that is better spent on a storm sheild on the captain. yes, you would need to find 5 points but thats not a biggy. The problem is that mathmatically, 1 s7 shot will do next to nothing against really any flier. So its a waste of 10 points.

Lances are great on anything getting the charge, bikes jumppacks, things charging out of a land raider I use loads and they wreck people are like what power lances...
