We've built an online tool that will allow for easy creation of MDF terrain, custom foam storage, and acrylic markers and terrain elements. You build it online and we export your work to a laser to finish the job. The tool itself is a version of CAD software built with the miniature and board gamer in mind. It retains most of the functionality you would find in something like CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator but simplifies the interface to provide only the options you really need to make a designs for miniature gaming accessories.

If you prefer something a bit more plug-and-play we’ll have pre-designed templates already created along with elements that will allow you to simply drag and drop things like windows and doors on to your design. The tool and everything on it is completely free and open to everyone (once the Kickstarter launches).

This could be an interesting approach to customizing a semi-saturated market. Lately everyone has jumped on laser cut terrain and templates with the decrease in cost of laser cutting. Anything that makes the design process and ordering easier now is all the better.

I want more space ship corridors so I hope the prices work out cheap enough for me to order.
