Fortunately it wasn't actually marked in any way, but about 30 minutes ago I just realized that I was painting on top of my laptop. That could have been bad.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

Luckily only my desk and mouse pad have gotten paint on them... but I do have a tendency to place minis all over and around my keyboard.

No, I have a separate desk for my computer and my Warhammer stuff. And the Warhammer one is actually a bar table instead of a desk. I wanted something tall so I wouldn't be bending way the hell over when painting models. I'd tried having my elbows on the table and putting my hands together with the model in one and the brush in the other, but that didn't work well for me.

One time I was cutting a brick of cheese with a sharp knife without realizing what was wrong with doing so while bracing the brick of cheese against my dad's leg. Probably because I'd just seen him doing the exact same thing not two minutes earlier.

This is why I my hobby room is a strictly no-computer/anything-of-value room (although I occasionally risk my iPod). My desk itself, however, is covered in every colour I've ever used (and probably some I haven't), and has served as a palette if I run out of room on the actual mixing tray.
