Can one use all machines from Space marines codex as Dark Angles. the reason i ask is because i recently received a storm talon gunship as a gift. it has Dark angle transfer sheets. IS it possible to use in primary detachment or is this wish full thinking.

Ok I am curios as to why they come with dark angle transfer sheets.

Still, you can ally a sm chapter or get a viable formation.
This allows you the use of 'other' vehicles.

Because its a generic transfer sheet that has everything on it...

I wish I could take a Stormraven in my Ravenwing....

i cant remember where but i did read something somewhere. about how storm talons where not part of the chapter, but it was not unheard of for dark-angels to have them and use them. It was diffidently fluff. i was just hopeful is all.

You could use your allies slot to take one (with a cheap troop and HQ), painted in DA colours (as long as your opponent can tell which units are from which codex).

You can! or well sort of can. The two storm talon and a storm raven formation can be taken with out having any other codex space marines units. Only codex space marine units can be transported however, so that is a bit of a bummer but if you wanted flying weapons platformas this is the formation for you!
