So I have played three games with this list now and have won handily against all three opponents (far sight enclave, space wolves and chaos sm). I know I haven't gone up against the big dogs (tau or space elves) but what do you guys think of this list?

Prime-AG, TS, flesh hooks, rending claws, death spitter 150

3 warriors- barbed strangler 100
3 warriors- barbed strangler 100
19 hormagaunts 96

2 venomthropes 90
Zoanthrope 50
2 zoanthropes 100

2 carnifexen- AG 2x TL devs 330
3 biovores 120
Tyrannofex- shreddershard thorax, AG, regen

Hive crone

The general strategy is that everybody hangs out together in the center of the board and the 3 heavy MCs and crone destroy anything that gets too close with everything else supporting them. The prime is stuck in with the venomthropes for the tanking and if needed he will join some other initial and get sucked into combat. The only Achilles heal I can find is lots of barrage and hell drakes (which are both next to nil where I play). The stranglers have so far been underperforming so far as I mainly brought them to suppress incoming infantry. Is there anything that you can see that would gimp the entire plan?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Looks pretty good, Nid'zilla builds are extra tasty at low point totals. I own/built a Mawloc, and a Tyrgon Prime, so thats what I have for Heavys...If I was building from scratch I'd likely build something like this...

I'd be happier with more troops though, somebody can kill off your troops pretty easy, and cut you off from objective VP's
I'd look at replacing the Prime with a Tyrant down the road(If a Walker a Heavy Strangle Cannon might be a good item), and maybe turn some Warriors into 'gants for a 4th Troop..?

I have a ton of tyranid stuff that I can swap out/replace if needed. I went with the prime in stead of the tyrant for a point reduction and being able to have an almost unlimited amount of ablative wounds thanks to the IC rule Would you recommend cutting out ALL the warriors for more gaunts? I'm terrified of loosing synapse and so far everyone has been dumping a ton of fire into the MCs and almost completely ignoring the warriors.

You look to have 5 synapse and 6 things that need it...If you lost 1 Brood of warriors thats 20 Hormies, or 25 Termies it might be a good choice. At low point games Monsters dominate, so your troops are safer. Untill some wise guy decides to try rubbing your troops out So I'd suggest trying it both ways.

If you have luck with a big Term swarm, you can build a Tervigon for larger point games...Big Monster, Synapse, spews out extra troops...a good time for all Just increase the 25 Term's to 30....

At higher point totals a Hive Tyrant becomes much more of a "must have" I ran Prime(s) in 5th, but with the boost in point cost, my 1500 list uses a Tyrant (that I used to add in at higher point games) Not much more expensive, and it's a Big Ugly Monster (tm) I add the prime in for larger games...but will likely replace it with a second Tyrant, once I get one as a birthday or x-mass gift...

Thanks for the tips. I've never had much luck with tervigons, either they exhaust after one or two turns or people gun them down because they realize the potential it has. I do like the doin of getting 70 str 4 shots a turn a bunch of devilgants come on though.
