Has anyone tried this?

I'm thinking either one unit inside and one on top or one unit inside and broadsides on top OR one unit on top and Broadsides inside.

How have people used Bastions in a Tau list? In particular with Pathfinders in a multi riptide list...

I don't feel that Pathfinder make the cut in my list as markerlight support. I take Skyrays and Markerdrones for either Crisis Suits or Broadsides.

I have successfully use the bastion to hide a unit of 3 broadsides (With the Stronghold assault rules, you can put markerdrones in their as well, I'd suggest you only do that with the 55pt bastion though, where you can fire 8 models instead of two per firepoint. Using Targetlocks of course)

Yeah, telling people how this and that is 'garbage' and they should just throw their minis into the trash as they're not as efficient as XYZ.

So the solution is to lie and pretend that certain options are effective so people will feel better?
