1st-2nd edition: pretty much literally Fantasy in space

3rd-4th edition: it became an individual game, of sorts

5th-6h edition: many objectives, similar to Titan Legions/Space Marine, and resultant plans required of how to capture them, made the game play a bit like Titan Legions and Space Marine

So the question is, which game will 7th and 8th edition resemble?

I think 7th edition 40k will resemble 6th edition 40k with a few moderate changes.

We will get extra rules for a designated "orbital superiority board" and play Battlefleet Gothic while we play 40k to see who wins in orbit so they can put down orbital bombardments.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

It should be timed, like speed chess...

Man 'o War.

I think I have a crate of the old Man O' War things down in the basement. Loved it.

At least I think that was the old Warhammer Fleet game.
