I like the color contrast, and the shading on the gold and scales. Don't worry about the shinyness, lots of lizards in real life are shiny.

Yeah, the eyes are a bit of a travesty. For whatever reason the pupils (slits?) did not show up in the photo, however it's painfully obvious that I cut corners with the shading there. Thanks for the feedback so far, I'll see if I can get better (less shiny =P) pictures of my other lizards up.
