What I'm looking for is a gallery, preferably sorted by game, race, unit type and edition, of all WH40K and WHFB miniatures ever made, as current as possible. Solegends only seems to cover old stuff.
The reason I want this is because I love looking at the evolution of a particular unit through the ages and seeing the changes made with each new iteration. Also the collector in me wants to know which editions I'm buying.
For example, right now I'm looking at Chaos Knights, and there seems to be at least 4 different releases, but I can't find any solid info on what was released when.
I'm actually pretty surprised I haven't been able to find something like this, since I imagine there would be huge interest from the community. unless GW makes it impossible by C&D:ing people?

Gw did make catalogs for a while, including the more modern stuff, maybe try a popular internet auction site and see if you can pick a few up.

Or get all of the white dwarves.
They're actually pretty affordable as long as you've got space for them.
A full collection is about 8ft of shelf space.

Not perfect, but Stuff of Legends is pretty good for the period you are looking at :

Stuff Of Legends

The Collecting Citadel Miniatures Wiki has some good stuff too:

Just going to second that Stuff of Legends is excellent. I collect a lot of old OOP models and it's a great resource for figuring out what's what.
