So I'm running an 1850 list of Black Templars with Dark Angels allies and after fulfilling my compulsory units I have a Tactical squad that I can either play as BT or DA. I feel like Crusader and Admantium Will is a little better than Stubborn, but I also feel that having a mid-field Stubborn unit can be good at bogging down enemy units in CC or being more likely to sit on an objective until the last man dies.

So basically, do I take a ten man DA tac squad with a plasma gun to prowl the mid-field, or so do I take a ten man BT squad with a missile launcher for long range support? I already have one other BT squad with the same load out in the list.

Thoughts and comments are appreciated.

I like the idea of a mid field stubborn unit. But I guess it would come down to how big your dark angel detachment is. Also I am a dark angels player so I'm a little biased.

I'd bring a crusader squad with 5 scouts and 5 marines with CCWs and maybe a power weapon, and have them run up the field aggressively. They're slightly too dangerous to be ignored, and cheap enough to work as a distraction unit.
Alternatively run 5 men with a heavy weapon, as there's no good reason to pay the extra points for 5 more with them only having bolters.
