Hello all. I am planning on making a Blood Angles Tournament Army. I am going to be doing this from the ground up to make this a powerful build and painted/converted for max paint score. I would appreciate any list suggestions for both 1000 points and 2000 points.

Probably your best bet is Stormraven spam. Since you are going from the ground up.

Did Stormravens get FAQ'ed to flyers?

Not a big fan of flyer spam as it has some major weaknesses...I don't even run major flyer spam with my Necron's and they are easy to do that with.

The 5th edition books have had their FAQ's put up on the Black Library site (after being removed from the main GW site).

It's still probably the most competitive thing the BA can do. The codex is terrible atm.

Land Raider spam is decent. It will probably get worse with more AM lists out there.

Land Raiders are easily stepped on by Knights. Just saying.

Joe, Storm Ravens do have a lot that can mess them up...But they are still good and mess a lot of things up themselves.

Martel, please stick to the productive posts, EVERYTHING gets stomped on by a Knight Titan, who cares? And yes, we all know your thoughts on the codex. Please keep to the constructive, or chill and take some time off from "helping" BA players by being overly negative. You have some great advice, but you're getting more and more negative about BA, which is not helpful to someone who wants to play BA and is going to play BA.

Actually, Knights are not that difficult to bring down with the right weaponry. Which Land Raiders don't have. Land Raiders kill the shooting phase for their list, and that's what you want to do to Knights. That's all I meant.

For money reasons I am going to stick with Necrons for now. Thanks all.
